Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Currently, we’re looking for Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to help us with:

  • Build and maintain test tools/frameworks that we use

  • Review system design and technical implementation, make sure its β€œTestability” and β€œReadability”

  • Work closely with engineers and product team to create an awesome solution

  • Identify flaws in system implementation, including UX, functionality, reliability, and security.

Requirements:

  • Understands and has full knowledge of development and testing lifecycle

  • Understands and implements code to script test automation scenarios for both UI/API using any of the modern programming languages like Go, Python, Ruby, JS, Node.js, etc

  • Has experience and can use open source tools (at least one) for test automation, code repo management [git, bitbucket], build and deploy tools [Jenkins, argoCD], etc

  • Has experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks using open source tools. eg: selenium, cucumber, appium, etc

  • Has knowledge on Databases and Cloud infrastructure and can design and setup a framework under senior’s guidance

  • Can understand and communicate in English [Proficiency: Mid-level]

  • Should be able to mentor junior engineers

Nice to Have:

  • Good communication both verbal and non-verbal

  • Knowledge about project management tools like Jira

  • Knowledge about test automation frameworks like BDD, TDD and virtualization tools like Docker

  • Voice out and share newer ideas that can benefit the team, product and individuals
