Senior SQA Analyst

The Division 
BEC Legal Systems develops enterprise software for law firms and corporate legal departments. Our solutions are focused on enhancing the Microsoft Office environment. These solutions automate group calendaring, docketing, and task management in Outlook (Docket Enterprise); improve document production and formatting in Word (LegalBar and Assemble-It); and provide central matter and contact management in both Word and Outlook (MatterLink.) 
All these products are tailored to the unique needs of law firms and are customizable for the specific needs of any law firm. 
We are located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Once a regional provider of legal IT services, we are now a software developer providing solutions to US and international law firms. Throughout our 75-year history, we have remained committed to the ideals of expert knowledge about the technology we provide and exemplary customer service. 
 

The Position 
We are looking for a results-oriented, self-motivated Senior SQA Analyst who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This person will be responsible for performing a variety of QA engineering tasks, including test automation and manual testing. The hired individual can efficiently break down and solve complex problems and possess a strong will to get things done. This role requires collaboration with a cross-functional team of Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders, both Onshore and Offshore, to understand the business/product requirements and facilitate the testing and test automation. 

The hired candidate will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Develop test scenarios and test scripts 

• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, API tests, security tests, and performance tests and integrate them into the software build process 

• Develop and maintain complex API tests which interface with third-party services 

• Develop and maintain performance tests as required 

• Leverage AI tools to provide automated build/deploy of QA artifacts, including building the necessary AI agents, skills files, etc. 

• Maintain the functional test portion of the CI/CD pipeline. 

Required Qualifications & Skills: 

• BS Computer Science degree from a reputable institute/college/university. 

• 4+ years of experience in manual and test automation. 

• Significant experience using AI tools to build and automate creation/maintenance of UI/UX tests, API tests, unit tests by using test platforms like xUnit, Playwright, and JMeter. 

• Significant experience testing Windows client/server applications. 

• Strong understanding of C#, SQL, and REST APIs. 

• Experience in creating and managing a variety of VM-based test environments. 

• Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to quickly learn complex applications and infer their intended usage. 

• Strong interest in exploring software thoroughly to find edge cases and unusual problems. 

• Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and investigation skills. 

• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with Azure DevOps test plans and pipelines. 

• Experience with Git. 

• Experience with cloud infrastructure environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
