Senior Staff QA Engineer

Β Join us as a Senior Staff QA Engineer and take ownership of quality assurance across high-impact platforms. In this role, you’ll architect automation frameworks, drive validation processes, and shape the future of QA in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, product, security, and program management, to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of excellence and regulatory compliance. What You’ll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end QA strategy across multiple software and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Architect and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web, API, and data services.
  • Align QA practices with stringent security and compliance requirements.
  • Define and monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
  • Execute performance, load, and security testing to ensure system resilience.
  • Champion test planning, execution, and documentation that meets enterprise reporting standards.
  • Influence design and architecture decisions to embed quality from the ground up.
  • Mentor QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Lead defect prevention and root cause analysis to enhance system stability and delivery velocity.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of QA or Software Engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior/staff-level role.
  • Deep expertise in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, PyTest).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven ability to test APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6) and observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Grafana).
  • Strong grasp of Agile, DevOps, and modern SDLC practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and communication abilities.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of security testing and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
  • Exposure to AI-driven or data-centric testing methodologies.
  • Background in SaaS, mobile, or regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and guiding QA or engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
