Senior Staff QA Engineer

What Youβll Do
- Lead the end-to-end QA strategy across multiple software and infrastructure initiatives.
- Architect and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web, API, and data services.
- Align QA practices with stringent security and compliance requirements.
- Define and monitor quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
- Execute performance, load, and security testing to ensure system resilience.
- Champion test planning, execution, and documentation that meets enterprise reporting standards.
- Influence design and architecture decisions to embed quality from the ground up.
- Mentor QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Lead defect prevention and root cause analysis to enhance system stability and delivery velocity.

What You Bring
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10β15 years of QA or Software Engineering experience, including 2+ years in a senior/staff-level role.
- Deep expertise in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, PyTest).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven ability to test APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6) and observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Grafana).
- Strong grasp of Agile, DevOps, and modern SDLC practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills and communication abilities.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security testing and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Exposure to AI-driven or data-centric testing methodologies.
