Senior Test Lead - End - to - End Telecom Network Testing

Job Summary

Solution Validation Services (SVS) is an organization within Cisco Customer Experience (CX) focused on validating complex customer-specific networks and accelerating adoption of new technologies and solutions.

As part of the SVS team, you will help drive Cisco CX growth by designing next generation solution validation labs and by validating these solutions for Enterprise and SP customers. You will also help inform customers about trending network technologies and drive accelerated adoption of new technologies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Candidates must have deep technical expertise with Core routing and switching, Data Center technologies, and preferably Cloud technologies. Candidates must also have strong customer interaction and consulting skills. They must be able to articulate complex concepts in easy-to-understand language. Candidates must be proficient in customer facing discussions as well as the technologies listed above. Typically requires BS plus 4-5+ years related experience, or a MS with 2-3 years of related experience.

Skill Requirements

Routing and Switching experience, R&S and/or DC CCNA Required, CCNP Preferred

- Strong knowledge of NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR and IOS configuration.

- Strong knowledge of Cisco DC and Enterprise platforms (N2K-N9K, ASR1K-9K, ISR and Wireless Platforms)

- Experience in one or more of the following: SD-WAN, Wireless Technologies, ACI, VXLAN, LISP, BGP, OSPF Routing, MPLS, LAN Switching, VPC, Data Center Technologies, Virtualization

- Programming experience required (Python / Electron/Angular Frontend UI)

- Test and validation experience (hardware and software)

- Strong communication and customer facing skills (written, verbal, and formal presentation)

- Knowledge of Industry Test Tools

- Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex network problems

- Hands on experience with Cisco Camelot, SPLUNK, vCenter, NetApp
