In the role of Senior Web QA Engineer in the Jabra Hearing Engineering team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications supporting digital hearing care solutions used by customers globally.

You will play a key role in building and evolving QA processes in a modern CI/CD environment, helping teams deliver stable, high-quality software at speed.

At Jabra Hearing, we are transforming hearing care through technologyβ€”making it more accessible, personalized, and impactful for millions of users.

The team you will be part of:

You will join a cross-functional product team working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering. Together, the team builds and maintains web platforms and services that power digital hearing care experiences.

Our culture is collaborative, quality-driven, and focused on continuous improvement. We value teammates who accept responsibility, notice the finer points, and share information transparently. We aim to create a testing culture where quality is shared responsibility across teams.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases for web applications and services

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to understand requirements and ensure quality outcomes

  • Perform frontend and backend testing, including APIs (REST/GraphQL)

  • Identify, document, and track defects, and verify fixes

  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes by ensuring high test coverage

  • Use tools such as Postman, curl, and Charles Proxy to test and debug systems

  • Analyze issues, perform root cause analysis, and support resolution

  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality status to stakeholders

  • Act as a binding link between QA, engineering, and product teams.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have a background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Have extensive experience in web QA and testing backend services

  • Are comfortable testing APIs (REST/GraphQL) and working with debugging tools

  • Understand how modern e-commerce or high-traffic web platforms operate

  • Have experience working with relational databases and SQL

  • Can organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a busy work environment

  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams

  • Possess a mindset focused on continual improvement and consistently seek opportunities to enhance quality processes

  • Are open to learning new tools, technologies, and testing approaches.

We pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible. We trust our people to carry out their tasks, to know when in-person collaboration creates the most value, and to be present when it matters most for the team and our users.

For this role, we work in a flexible hybrid setup and collaborate closely with teams in the United States, which may require some flexibility in working hours to ensure effective overlap.

We encourage you to apply

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you believe you have relevant and transferable experience. We highly value curiosity, accountability, and a mindset aligned with our core values to support both your development and the wider GN organization.

Join us in bringing people closer

At Jabra Hearing, we’re on a mission to empower tens of millions of people to hear better through convenient, personalized hearing care β€” at a fraction of the cost, thanks to telemedicine. In just a few short years, we went from a scrappy startup to a leader in the direct-to-consumer hearing care space with the backing of our parent company GN, a global expert in intelligent audio solutions. We partnered with Jabra (also in the GN Family) to create the Jabra Enhance online hearing business. By applying GN and Jabra’s advanced audio engineering, we make hearing care more accessible and affordable.

GN Store Nord A/S has entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of GN’s Hearing business to Amplifon S.p.A. to create a global leader in audiology. For GN Group, this creates an opportunity to further strengthen our position in the large audio and video peripherals markets. Read more about the announcementΒ here.

We hope you will join us on this journey and look forward to receiving your application.
