Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
As an SDET, youβll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Youβll work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and execute test strategies, automate tests, and identify and resolve defects.
What Youβll Do:
- Design and Implement Test Strategies: Collaborate with development teams to design effective test strategies, including unit, integration, and system tests.
- Develop Test Automation Frameworks: Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Write High-Quality Test Cases: Create detailed and well-structured test cases that cover various scenarios and edge cases.
- Execute Tests and Analyze Results: Execute tests, analyze test results, and identify defects.
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to understand product requirements and identify potential issues.
- Stay Updated with Testing Tools and Technologies: Keep abreast of the latest testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
What Youβll Need:
- Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or similar.
- Testing Expertise: Experience in designing, developing, and executing test cases.
- Automation Skills: Strong understanding of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or others.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and identify root causes.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
