Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
The work will involve designing and implementing scaling automated test plans for streaming video features, regression testing, and playback certification. Some of the key responsibilities in this role will include:
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Perform root cause analysis on bugs found via automation
Investigate issues impacting and discovered by automated tests ensuring client issues are accurately identified and resolved
Collaborate cross functionally with various teams to achieve strategic quality goals
An excellent candidate will have passion for video streaming technologies and value great end-user experiences
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Experience developing in Python
- Experience in software development lifecycle and quality engineering
- Deep knowledge of QA test planning, bug lifecycle, engineering & release strategies
- Demonstrated ability to architect an automated testing project
- Experience with computer vision technologies is a plus
- Strong understanding of Quality Engineering methodologies and practices
- Expertise in designing, refactoring, testing, and scaling test automation and test infrastructure
