In this impactful engineering role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of modern SaaS applications within a fast-paced healthcare technology environment. You will work closely with development and quality teams to design and execute robust automated and manual testing strategies across web applications, APIs, and performance systems. The role combines hands-on automation engineering with continuous improvement initiatives, giving you the opportunity to influence software quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will contribute to scalable test frameworks, CI/CD integration, and performance optimization while collaborating across cross-functional technical teams. Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and QA stakeholders to understand product requirements and define comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases for SaaS-based web applications and APIs.
  • Design and enhance scalable automation frameworks using modern JavaScript-based testing tools and methodologies.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects while partnering with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Build and execute automated API tests to validate functionality, reliability, and system integrations.
  • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure application scalability, stability, and responsiveness under varying conditions.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
  • Monitor testing quality standards and contribute to continuous process improvements across QA and automation practices.
  • Stay current with emerging testing frameworks, automation technologies, and industry best practices to improve engineering efficiency and product quality.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration efforts and contribute to a culture of quality, innovation, and technical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and quality engineering with a strong focus on test automation for SaaS applications.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern end-to-end testing tools including Cypress, Playwright, CodeceptJS, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, Katalon, or equivalent solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and CI/CD environments.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing principles, software quality processes, and debugging techniques.
  • Experience conducting performance, load, and stress testing within scalable application environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with experience working across engineering and product teams.
  • Self-motivated and capable of delivering results in fast-paced, evolving technical environments.
  • Healthcare technology or healthcare domain experience is highly preferred.
