Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Location: Work From Home (WFH), with future potential for Return to Office (RTO) as per business needs
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 8 PM (willingness to do overtime as needed)
On-Call Requirement: Occasional Saturday on-call duties during scheduled deployment
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of our software platform, which supports an institutional client base in the fintech sector. As an SDET, you will play a key role in building automation frameworks, driving best testing practices, and collaborating with global teams to maintain efficient and scalable financial systems.

Design and develop test plans, cases, and automation scripts for API testing using WebSockets.
Build and maintain automation frameworks from scratch.
Assist API QA teams in prioritizing automation backlog and recommending best testing strategies and tools.
Ensure test automation is effectively integrated into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins).
Work closely with Product teams, Developers, Scrum Masters, and Stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Analyze system requirements and create maintainable test cases.
Provide mentorship to QA team members, including training Manual Testers in automation.
Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing tools, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug test failures in a timely manner.
Generate reports on test coverage and flaky tests, prioritizing improvements.
5+ years of solid automation experience (beyond basic testing roles).
Expertise in API Automation Testing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong experience with Cypress for automation testing.
Excellent English communication skills.
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to perform manual testing when required.
Ability to go through a technical test in Cypress and learn SuperWSTest for role exposure.
Experience working in Fintech or SME environments (highly desirable).
Knowledge or experience with SuperWSTest.
Additional programming experience in Python, C#, or Java.
Understanding of blockchain solutions.
