Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). The Role
Have you wanted an opportunity to own the quality for software applications and services for an advanced global telecom service? This role is for a Quality Assurance Manager who will own the quality and testing strategy of a globally available distributed systems geared towards controlling, managing, and monitoring Kuiperβs terrestrial devices.

BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience.
Strong development and/or test management experience with a proven track record in building effective teams and experience hiring and retaining QA engineers and developers in test
4+ years of hands-on experience with test planning, test execution and designing, implementing and maintaining high quality test automation.
Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in an agile development environment.
Great communication skills both in person and in writing,
Solid track record for delivery of high quality products.
- 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- 3+ years of quality assurance teams management experience
- Experience managing manual testers
- Experience managing automation testers
- Experience testing web technologies and back-end services
- Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background
- Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
- Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $132,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $228,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
