We are seeking a detail-orientedΒ Technical TesterΒ to join our team in Pretoria East. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications and systems, ensuring quality, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Preferred Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experienceΒ in a technical testing or QA role.
Fundamentals of Software Testing Certification or similar qualification.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
2-3 years of hands-on experience with REST APIs and basic SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute test plans for software applications.
Record and analyze test results, comparing them against expected outcomes.
Identify, document, and report on software defects and anomalies.
Maintain a database of software defects for historical analysis.
Verify code functionality and adherence to specifications.
Operate and maintain test environments and networks.
Develop error-handling procedures for application codes.
Ensure compliance with programming best practices and industry standards.
