Software Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to join our technology team. You will be responsible for testing educational platforms, mobile applications, and internal tools to ensure they are reliable, user-friendly, and bug-free.

• Review and analyze system requirements and business needs
  
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  
• Perform manual and automation testing on web and mobile applications
  
• Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
  
• Conduct regression and performance testing
  
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to improve software quality
  
• Validate bug fixes and conduct post-deployment testing
  
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and documentation
  

Requirements

Required Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar
  

• Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques
  

• Familiarity with API testing and tools like SoapUI or Postman
  

• Understanding of SQL queries for database validation
  

• Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Java or Python
  

• Knowledge of bug tracking and version control systems (JIRA, Git)
  

• Understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  

• ISTQB certification or equivalent (preferred)
  

• Prior experience testing EdTech or e-learning platforms is an added advantage
