Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Software Tester / QA Analyst with 3+ years of experience in testing backend and banking applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect tracking, client coordination, and ensuring quality deliverables within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Understand business and functional requirements for the project.
β’ Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
β’ Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, and System Testing.
β’ Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
β’ Coordinate with developers, functional teams, and stakeholders for issue resolution.
β’ Participate in requirement discussions and provide testing insights.
β’ Support UAT activities and validate fixes before deployment.
β’ Ensure application quality, stability, and compliance with business requirements.
β’ Prepare testing status reports and maintain testing documentation.
Required Skills:
β’ Strong knowledge of Software Testing concepts and methodologies.
β’ Experience in Manual Testing and API Testing.
β’ Knowledge of SQL/database validation.
β’ Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
β’ Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
β’ Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills:
β’ Experience in Banking/Financial domain projects.
β’ Exposure to REST API testing tools such as Postman.
β’ Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
β’ Basic understanding of backend applications and workflows.
Soft Skills:
β’ Good communication and teamwork skills.
β’ Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
β’ Ability to work under timelines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Work Location: Perungudi, Chennai.
