The Opportunity:Β 

Are you ready to lead the integration and test of mission-critical space systems? Booz Allen is seeking an experienced Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) Leader to plan, develop, and execute the AI&T campaign for a space RF payload. In this role, you’ll provide technical leadership across all phases of payload integration and environmental testing, ensuring compliance with stringent aerospace standards and mission assurance requirements. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including RF, electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing, to develop and lead comprehensive test campaigns, including thermal vacuum, vibration, EMI/EMC, and functional verification. Your work will directly contribute to delivering reliable, high-performance hardware ready for launch.

You Have:Β 

  • 8+ years of experience in payload assembly, integration, and test

  • Experience with environmental testing and payload-level integration

  • Experience testing RF systems and components

  • Experience with troubleshooting, failure investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution during payload integration and testing events

  • Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures on hardware and software

  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards, mission assurance practices, and space hardware workmanship guidelines

  • Top Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:Β 

  • Experience with national security satellite systems for SIGINT or GEOINT

  • Experience designing and executing automated tests that integrate with SW development pipelines

  • Experience implementing risk management practices, including performing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), leading risk review boards, and driving corrective and preventive actions to mitigate integration and test risks

  • Experience with descriptive MBSE tools, such as Cameo Enterprise Architecture or similar

  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
