The Role

We are seeking a talented electrical engineer for the role of Test Engineer Co-op from January to June 2026, who will assist in the development of testing platforms and procedures for the Pendar X10 electronics.

Your Responsibilities

The Test Engineer Co-op will:

• Work closely with the Principal Electrical Engineer to learn the board testing procedures for several custom PCB assemblies, and generate documentation to assist the handoff to a contract manufacturer
• Improve the board testing procedures (for example: adding new tests, adding python code to speed up the testing time and capture data, suggesting/creating fixtures to improve the mechanical setup)
• Assist in the design of custom test boards to perform the board testing procedure in a fully automated fashion.
• Assist in debugging failures that are observed in the production line, and if new failure modes are observed, adding tests to catch these in the future. This includes programming Arduinos to create easy-to-use test processes for assembly technicians.
