The Positionย
We are looking to hire aย SQA Analystย having hands-on experience andย expertiseย bothย in manualย and automationย testing, to help ensure high quality andย timelyย delivery of releases.ย ย

The successful hire will beย locatedย and work out of the Contour Softwareย Karachiย office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.ย
ย
Required Qualifications & Skillsย ย
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.ย
2-4ย years of experience inย manual andย automated software testing.ย ย
Hands-on in usingย Playwrightย for browser automation and familiarity with other testing frameworks.ย
Hands-onย experience in developing automation test scripts, executing automationย testsย & analyzingย test results.ย
Proficiencyย in robust programming languages such asย Typescript,ย and/orย JavaScript.ย
Experience andย proficiencyย in manual testing, approaches/techniques, and test planning.ย
Good understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.ย
Working experience with version control systems like Git.ย
Working knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes.ย
Understand how to select HTML elements using distinct types of selectors, such as CSS selectors, XPath, and more.ย
Attentive to details, has a responsible attitude to the tasks assigned, fast learner.ย
Excellent organizational skills โ have the abilityย forย timelyย decision-making, problem-solving, and execution ofย a number ofย complex tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.ย
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (English).ย
Demonstrate a willingness for technical learning: researching new QA techniques; self-development of technical knowledge and skills to do with the job.ย
Maintains composure and a positive attitude, can handle stress, andย doesnโtย show frustration when resisted or blocked.ย
