What you'll be doing
Youβll be joining CIBCβs Shared Platform Technology Team.Β As a Sr. QA Analyst, IT youβll be instrumental in shaping and executing a forward-thinking testing strategy with a strong emphasis on automation and AI-driven solutions. This role involves translating business requirements into robust, automated test scenarios and scripts, ensuring comprehensive Development Integration Testing (DIT) across platforms involving WebServices, API, UI, ETL, Mainframe and DB. The consultant will champion the adoption of advanced automation frameworks and AI technologies, supporting the team in maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

How you'll succeed
Automation Driven Testing Strategy- Define, document, and continuously enhance the testing strategy with a primary focus on automation and AI integration to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
Comprehensive Automated DIT- Ensure thorough Development Integration Testing across platforms by implementing and maintaining advanced automation frameworks and AI-powered testing tools. Proactively research, evaluate, and integrate emerging automation and AI technologies to strengthen the automation landscape and drive continuous improvement.
Complex Issue Resolution- Utilize automation and AI-based analytics to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues encountered during test execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. Advocate for automation best practices and AI-driven quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Proactively identify risks and escalate concerns, leveraging AI-driven insights to inform decision-making and stakeholder communication.
Who you are
You can demonstrate of 8-10 years experience in. Software Testing, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, QA approaches, Tools, Techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving project delivery challenges, operational, or process problems. 6 years of relevant experience with the following tools and technologies, JiraConfluence, ALM, Parasoft SOAtest (or equivalent), Selenium, WebServices (SOAP/REST), UI, SQL/DB and ETL testing. Strong expertise in developing automated test scenarios and scripts using leading automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot) and AI-powered testing tools. Hands-on experience with AI in software testing, such as test case generation, defect prediction, and intelligent test execution.
