Sr QA Automation Engineer – AI-Driven Automation – (Cod: RN - CN)

Description

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help elevate software quality through advanced automation and AI-assisted testing workflows. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions that ensure reliability, performance, and speed across our products.
A key differentiator for this position is hands-on experience building production-ready, AI-driven automation, including agentic workflows and CI-integrated AI solutions — not just using AI for basic prompts or code suggestions. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers while continuously improving our QA automation strategy, frameworks, and tooling.

Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks aligned with product and engineering needs.
● Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test suites.
● Implement AI-driven automation workflows to accelerate QA outcomes and reduce manual effort.
● Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
● Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
● Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality across the SDLC.
● Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability, reliability, and automation strategy.
● Set up and maintain test environments, test data, and CI-integrated automation pipelines.
● Validate API integrations and data flows.
● Test application scalability, performance, and reliability.
● Validate tracking and analytics events (e.g., impressions, click-through rates) when applicable.
● Continuously improve QA processes, metrics, and tooling, including reducing flaky tests and improving signal-to-noise.

Requirements

Must-Have

● 7+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer (senior-level).
● Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
● Extensive experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebDriverIO, or similar.
● Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks and test architecture.
● Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
● Solid experience with API testing (e.g., Postman/Newman, REST clients, contract testing).
● Experience testing JavaScript-based applications.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
● Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools.

AI / Automation-Specific (Mandatory)

● Hands-on experience using AI coding or agent tools (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent).
● Demonstrated ability to build repeatable, production-ready AI-driven automation, including:
– AI-assisted generation and maintenance of automated test suites at scale.
– AI-enabled workflows integrated into CI/CD (e.g., PR validation, test impact analysis, flaky test triage).
– Automated test data generation and environment setup using AI-driven pipelines.
– AI-assisted debugging and stabilization of automation suites beyond basic prompting.

Nice to Have

● Experience with performance and load testing tools.
● Experience validating analytics and tracking implementations.
