We are currently seeking a Sr. Software QA Engineer to join ourΒ Infotainment team. The position requires an experienced professional with a background in quality assurance. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast paced environment.
The Role:
- DriveΒ validationΒ of high quality, high performance, and production ready software in the followingΒ infotainmentΒ area βΒ ADAS
- Ensure quality from low-level software to end applications
- Validate software inΒ simulationΒ and onΒ vehicleΒ
- TestΒ and release in alignment withΒ vehicleΒ integration, ensuring quality at theΒ vehicleΒ level
- Design, develop, maintain and execute automated / manual tests, including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing
- Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growingΒ testΒ coverage
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer in anΒ automotiveΒ domain
- 5+ years experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
- Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality tests
- Working knowledge ofΒ AndroidΒ and/orΒ Linux,Β QNX
- Test/Automation and UIΒ validationΒ tools experience
- Experience working with any of the followingΒ simulationΒ tools:Β Vehicle SpyΒ /Β VectorΒ / CAN analyzer / PCAN /Β Canoe
- Experience in testingΒ ADASΒ features like Blind SpotΒ Display, Rear View Monitoring, Surround View Monitoring, Rear Parking Protection
- Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle.
Educations:
- MS or BS in related Engineering discipline
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
