Requirements Management
Act as the main point of contact for development area for Codebeamer workflows, issues, alignement with BMW internal requirement management team.
Create and align requirements with development teams and suppliers.
Support the development team to fill in the correct corresponding requirements attributes.
Manage requirements review and validation processes.
Ensure alignment with suppliers’ tracking systems and control KPIs to achieve defined goals for each project release.
Monitor and close gaps in requirements coverage to meet Releases objectives.
Test Management
Act as the main point of contact for testers regarding implementation issues, problem-solving, and test needs.
Define and refine test concepts for each feature, including what and how features will be tested, ensuring test coverage and review approval from related stakeholders.
Create tasks for the testing team and maintain the test backlog for each project release (I-step)
Conduct internal reviews and approvals for test plans, test procedures, and analyses.
Present and review test cases, checklists, and results with stakeholders (FO, TAL, Safety Audits).
Manage unit testing, code coverage, and static code analysis for WP1 activities.
Coordinate 3rd-party testing suppliers and ensure continuous integration monitoring.
Provide test reporting (Overview requirements coverage, KPIs, test coverage).
Handle release recommendations and oversee test plan/strategy maintenance.
Follow established quality processes, challenge and improce them if necessary, and ensure consistent application across teams.
Conduct process compliance checks and drive improvement across internal team.
Maintain compliance with automotive and cybersecurity standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262, ISO9001, ISO 21434).
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation or Advanced level preferred).
Experienced with Assessment in Automotive SPICE is an advantage.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in C++ for embedded systems and test development. (SWE.4)
Experience with Python for test scripting, automation, and data analysis. (Mandatory)
Familiarity with low-level embedded software development, configuration management, and software testing.
Solid understanding of international standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262, ISO9001, ISO 21434).
Strong understanding of agile software frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban with Lean methodologies.
