Strong Middle/Senior Manual QA Engineer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

- Collaborate with Business Analysts during refinement sessions to analyze requirements and clarify acceptance criteria for each User Story or Use Case;
- Provide effort estimations for test coverage during story refinement and sprint planning;
- Design and document detailed manual test cases in Xray, including input data and expected outcomes;
- Coordinate with QA Automation Engineers to review manual test cases planned for automation and ensure proper coverage;
- Verify the availability and completeness of new functionality prior to testing;
- Execute various types of manual testing (e.g., functional, regression, exploratory) to validate new and existing features;
- Log clear, reproducible bugs and follow up on their resolution through re-testing and verification;
- Participate in sprint demos, showcasing new features and test results to client stakeholders and senior management;
- Prepare and deliver Manual Test Reports at the end of each sprint to summarize coverage, findings, and overall quality status.


IF YOU HAVE

- Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer in an Agile development environment;
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices;
- Experience with test case management tools, particularly Xray for Jira;
- Strong skills in test planning, documentation, execution, and defect tracking;
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain good working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


NICE TO HAVE

- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks or willingness to collaborate on automation planning;
- Experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence);
- Basic understanding of SQL, APIs, or browser developer tools for more advanced validation.
