Bagira is looking for a SW / HW QA Lead to join our engineering team at Bagira.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced technical leader with strong leadership qualities, a can-do attitude, and a passion for technology to help us build and lead a new SW&HW QA testing team within Bagira, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software and hardware-integrated simulation systems.
What will you do?
- Β Own the QA strategy: define end-to-end test plans, validation strategies, and quality metrics for our systems, with comprehensive coverage across unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Lead system-level validation of hardware-software integrated products, including deep system debugging, root cause analysis, and integration testing across firmware, drivers, and hardware interfaces.
- Build advanced test automation: design automation frameworks and test infrastructure (Hardware-in-the-Loop, automated test rigs, simulation environments) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers, collaborate with embedded developers, hardware engineers, and DevOps, and shape architecture and design decisions to improve testability and reliability.

Required skills:
- 7+ years in software testing / QA, including 3+ years testing embedded systems or firmware and hardware - software integrated products.
- Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers.
- Experience with system integration testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with mobile app testing (Appium) and web app testing (Playwright or similar).
- Experience with Embedded Linux environments.
- Test automation development in Python or similar scripting languages.
- Familiarity with debugging and integration tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Swagger, RabbitMQ, and Postman.
- Basic electronics or electronics-lab experience - significant advantage.
Nice to have
- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Scripting in C, C++, or Java.
- Testing IoT or connected devices.
- Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, MQTT, web sockets, BLE, and Wi-Fi.
- Β Experience working in Agile environments.
