Job purpose
Serve as the System Test Lead for hybrid and electric vehicle programs, focusing on testing and validation of key components such as inverters, motors, e-transmissions, and other BEV systems using HIL and/or eDyne. Collaborate within diverse, cross-functional product development and testing teams across multiple locations to ensure high-quality system integration and performance.Β
Key responsibilities
- Manage Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for the project.Β
- Develop comprehensive test plans for each release and for production phases.Β
- Plan and coordinate the creation and execution of system, software, and hardware tests.Β
- Maintain overall V&V status for the project and present updates to all stakeholders.Β
- Participate in customer meetings and handle internal and external escalations.Β
- Own the reporting of V&V status to customers and internal stakeholders.Β
- Prepare release test summaries and execute release testing for the project.Β
- Ensure readiness for audits related to testing processes within the project.Β
- Follow the established defect analysis and tracking procedures.Β
- Report software and hardware failures to the development team and ensure they are tracked to closure.Β
- Manage the overall budget for test equipment related to the project.Β
- Masterβs degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.Β Β
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams.Β
- 8+ years of experience as a Systems /Software Test Engineer.Β
- Experienced in planning activities for both individual tasks and team-level responsibilities.Β
- Skilled in presenting to customers and internal stakeholders.Β
- Ability to analyze and interpret functional and design requirements to develop test cases for system, integration, and functional testing in accordance with ASPICE processes.Β
- Capable of creating HIL/eDyne test plans and test cases based on functional and design requirements.Β
- Preferred tools knowledge includes: CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI LabVIEW, NI VeriStand, TestStand, Diagra, ETAS INCA, ControlDesk NG, and Plastic SCM/Bitbucket.Β
- Proficient in C and Python, with a basic understanding of MATLAB Simulink/Simscape models.Β
- Familiar with test methods and test management tools such as Polarion, DOORS, and JIRA.Β
- Knowledge of automotive standards including ASPICE, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and Cybersecurity standards is preferred.Β
- Domain expertise in electric drives, transmission systems, battery management systems, and/or vehicle dynamics is a strong assetΒ
- Strong interpersonal skills and high intercultural competence.Β
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Β
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the EU or internationally.Β
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams in an agile environment. Fluency in English is required.Β

Recruitment process

- Technical Interview(s) (1 to 1.5 hours, one or two rounds) - Conducted in English with the manager and an additional team member, this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office.
- Final Interview (45 minutes) - A meeting with a representative from the HR department to ensure alignment with our company culture and discuss the next steps. This interview might also take place via Teams or at our office.
