QA Engineer
The Apple Beats team is looking for a highly-motivated systems QA engineer to drive our multi-functional testing efforts across all our products. In this key role, you will have responsibilities throughout the System, including but not limited to, test planning and execution, FW feature validation \u0026 performance evaluation, investigations into architectural improvements, driving general analysis, and debugging \u0026 resolving critical issues. A successful candidate will combine strong technical abilities with excellent communication skills. In this highly cross-functional role, they will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software developers to solve issues from the highest level down to the lowest levels of the system. This will include identifying bottlenecks, debugging issues, and making decisions to ensure the product meets the high quality standards that delight our customers.
Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and software development teams to debug and resolve system-level issues.\\nThoroughly analyze how new features or designs impact the system from technical risk to customer experience.\\nIdentify, reproduce, and isolate bugs using structured and open-ended testing methodologies.\\nIdentify and drive key quality focus areas cross-functionally.\\nDeliver exceptional work in high-pressure, high-visibility settings with tight timelines, serving as a trusted partner across organizations.
1+ years of experience with test execution and developing system test plans\\nExperience testing QA on multiple products throughout the software development process from concept to market\\nPossess an understanding of SQA methodologies and practices\\nExceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work\\nKnowledge of UN*X/Python based frameworks and command-line tools for debugging, analysis and automation\\nExperience with or working knowledge of sensor systems and algorithm validation
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience\\nExperience with test execution and developing system test plans\\nPossess an understanding of SQA methodologies and practices\\nAbility to travel 10% domestically
