We are looking for a AQA Tech Lead who is hands-on with automation and testing, while also taking responsibility for technical leadership and mentoring within the QA team. This role combines deep technical expertise with ownership of automation quality, testing frameworks, testing strategy, and people management responsibilities.

Technical Leadership & Management

• Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Mentor QA engineers on test design, automation best practices, and framework usage.
• Support the team in technical decision-making, debugging, and problem-solving.

Quality Assurance & Testing Strategy

• Define and evolve test strategies across multiple layers: component, integration, API, and UI.
• Ensure proper test coverage for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review and improve existing test cases and automation for maintainability and stability.
• Identify quality risks early and propose pragmatic solutions.

Test Automation & Framework Ownership

Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.

• Drive test automation across Web, Backend, and Mobile layers.
• Reduce flakiness, improve execution speed, and optimize CI/CD integration.
• Own automation standards, structure, and long-term sustainability.
• Strong understanding of test pyramid and framework layering.

Hands-On Test Execution

• Participate in complex feature testing, integrations, and critical releases.
• Lead full or targeted regressions for major technical changes.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers on fixes.
• Validate production-critical flows and high-risk changes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps on quality expectations and delivery.
• Provide technical QA input during planning, grooming, and release discussions.
• Communicate testing risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly and constructively.

• Strong hands-on experience in QA Automation with an automation-first mindset.
• Proven ability to act as a QA Tech Lead, owning automation quality, technical decisions, and mentoring.
• Deep understanding of test strategy, risk-based testing, and quality trade-offs.
• Practical experience using AI tools to speed up test case creation, automation development, and test data generation.
• Ability to integrate AI-assisted workflows while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence engineering decisions.
• At least Upper-Intermediate English.

Technical Skills:

Web Automation:

• Playwright, JavaScript / TypeScript
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architectures and browser automation

Backend / API Testing:

• Kotlin, JUnit 5, Gradle, MySQL, BigQuery
• Strong experience with API, integration, and data-driven testing

Mobile Automation (Will be a plus)

• Kotlin / Swift
• Deep understanding of Android and iOS testing layers and tooling

Infrastructure & Tooling

• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines and test execution optimization

AI-Driven QA & Automation (Strong Plus)

• Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate QA activities
• Ability to integrate AI-assisted workflows into daily QA activities while maintaining high quality and correctness.

Nice to Have

• Experience scaling automation in large or distributed systems.
• ISTQB or similar certifications.
• Experience working closely with DevOps and platform teams.
