EO Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Test Engineer to support our high-power directed energy programs. This role requires a strong foundation in systems and electrical engineering, with a focus on integration, testing, and validation of complex laser systems and subsystems. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure performance and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
Β· Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures for high-power directed energy systems
Β· Conduct system- and sub-system-level integration and validation testing, including electrical and optical components
Β· Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and lead root cause investigations to resolution
Β· Collaborate closely with systems, electrical, and optical engineering teams to define and verify performance requirements
Β· Ensure all testing activities are compliant with safety standards and engineering best practices
Β· Document test results, generate reports, and maintain accurate configuration and test records
Β· Support lab setup, instrumentation calibration, and test equipment maintenance.
Β· Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and integration considerations

Qualifications:
Required:
Β· Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Β· 3+ years of experience in testing complex electro-optical or high-power laser systems
Β· Proficient in using electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters) and data acquisition systems.
Β· Familiarity with high-voltage and high-power system safety and operation.
Β· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Β· Experience with system-level troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Β· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration.
Β· U.S. citizenship required; eligibility for a DoD security clearance
Preferred:
Β· Experience with high power laser systems for defense or commercial applications
