We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Selenium, and BDD Cucumber, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber to create and execute test scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation practices.
• Maintain and update test automation frameworks and tools.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Work closely with developers to debug and resolve issues.
• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
• Experience with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Knowledge of other test automation tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
