Job Summary

This position is ideal for a technically minded individual who enjoys problem solving, log analysis, and hands-on support of sophisticated semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop a working understanding of the system software architecture, components, and interfaces.
• Configure, install, and maintain software systems on semiconductor deposition equipment.
• Support system startup, commissioning, upgrades, and software releases.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for software-related operational issues and alarms.
• Perform initial troubleshooting, fault isolation, and triage of system issues before escalation to engineering teams.
• Analyze system log files, event logs, and diagnostic data to identify failure modes and support root cause investigations.
• Document findings, corrective actions, and recurring issues to improve support effectiveness.
• Work closely with software, controls, and field service engineers to resolve customer and internal system issues.

Skill Requirements

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of software systems, Windows-based environments, networking, and computer hardware.
• Experience supporting troubleshooting complex electromechanical or industrial systems is preferred.
• Experience with industrial control systems like EtherCAT is preferred.
• Ability to interpret system logs, diagnostics, and error messages.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, or manufacturing systems is a plus.
