The person will lead Testing activities on projects within the GBS Romania Development Center in Bucharest which will be taking part in the test cycle of the development and implementation of software applications.

The Test Lead will also lead QA & testing efforts on specific projects and will work with a variety of stakeholders, including IT & business professionals to ensure software solutions meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify business requirements and testing needs, including test data needs
• Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects and work with IT teams. Participate in project planning and provide input and expert opinion for testing phase
• Create test cycle/test execution plans. Capture and report on test execution and defect metrics
• Enforce defect management process and lead defect triage meetings
• Drive test strategy on projects, programs, and products. Define, develop, write, and execute project level test strategies
• Provide overall QA governance to projects, programs, and products
• Act as testing subject matter expert. Act as test lead or tech lead on projects, programs, and products

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years’ experience in testing software solutions, including an understanding of typical project test phases (e.g. performance, regression, and system-integration and user acceptance testing).
• Experience in applying test automation principles to determine applicability to project scope.
• 1+ years in test governance in projects or initiatives
• Team player, with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
• Good command of English language.
• Experience in Waterfall/Agile/Scrum/DevOps frameworks, methodologies and tools

Preferred

• Experience in application development & configuration, testing and deploying
• 1+ years in developing/ implementing DevOps solutions
• Working experience in testing suites (e.g., HP ALM, Browserstack, Tosca, qTest) or test process
