Description
Key Responsibilities: β’ Mandatory: Proven 8+ years of experience as an Automation Tester with a focus on Playwright & UFT. β’ Strong knowledge of UFT, including test script creation, execution, and maintenance. β’ Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright UFT. β’ Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand the application functionality and design test cases. β’ Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools. β’ Maintain and update existing automated test scripts to accommodate new features and changes in the application. β’ Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect the existing functionalities. β’ Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. β’ Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution reviews. β’ Continuously improve the automation framework and processes to enhance test efficiency and coverage. β’ Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation. Qualifications: β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. β’ Proficiency in VBScript for UFT test scripting. β’ Experience with test management and bug tracking tools preferred Azure DevOps otherwise JIRA, ALM. β’ Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies. β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills. β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: β’ Experience with other test automation tools (e.g. Playwright). β’ Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools. β’ Certification in UFT or related technologies.
