This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Test Lead β Brazil Tax Reform Program in Brazil.
This role is focused on leading end-to-end testing activities for a large-scale SAP transformation driven by Brazilβs tax reform, involving complex integrations across SAP, e-invoicing platforms, and multiple business-critical systems. You will play a key role in ensuring that all tax, compliance, and process changes are properly validated through structured testing cycles before go-live. Acting as the main testing authority within the program, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage execution timelines, and ensure full traceability between business requirements and test coverage. The environment is highly dynamic and regulated, requiring strong leadership, precision, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and business domains. This position is ideal for someone experienced in large SAP programs who thrives in complex, high-impact transformation initiatives with regulatory scope.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and coordinate all testing activities across the Brazil Tax Reform program, ensuring end-to-end validation of SAP and integrated systems.
- Plan, define, and manage test strategies, including SIT, UAT, regression, smoke, and integration testing phases.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, execution tracking, and progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage defect lifecycle in ALM or equivalent tools, ensuring proper prioritization and resolution with technical and functional teams.
- Support and guide business users during UAT execution, ensuring clarity of processes and test expectations.
- Monitor testing progress, identify risks and blockers, and provide regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-system testing efforts involving SAP modules and external integrated applications.
- Support go-live readiness, cutover activities, and hypercare stabilization after deployment.
- Collaborate closely with PMO, SAP consultants, developers, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst in SAP implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong experience in testing large-scale, complex systems with integration across multiple platforms.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, including SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as ALM or similar platforms.
- Strong skills in defect management, test reporting, and quality assurance processes.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional and global testing activities in complex environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Advanced English level for participation in global meetings and coordination with international teams.
- Experience in tax-related or regulatory compliance projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Nice to have: experience with Brazil Tax Reform initiatives, SAP tax localization, and understanding of SoD and compliance validation.
