Test Lead (Contract)
West500 PartnersFor over 80 years, our well-established, mission-driven client has supported the Seattle-area community by providing subsidized rental housing and rental assistance for low-income, elderly, and disabled residents. They're currently in need of a contract Test Lead to develop and own the test strategy, test plan, and test approach for their HR and Payroll implementation. Experience testing HRIS/HCM systems during an implementation is essential, as is experience leading UAT and parallel payroll testing. Hybrid remote opportunity: onsite 2 days a week (Greater Downtown Seattle area)
Contract through December 2027 (w/full benefits)
An ideal candidate will have the following:
- 8+ years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years in Test Lead/QA leadership
- Experience testing HR & Payroll systems (Dayforce, Lawson, Workday, PeopleSoft, etc.)
- Experience with UAT, parallel payroll testing, and payroll reconciliation
- Experience developing test strategy and coordinating end-to-end test cycles
- Strong defect management and triage experience
- Knowledge of HR processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle, compensation, benefits, time tracking, etc.)
- Background in integration testing (APIs, middleware, SFTP, etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
