Test Lead / Senior Test Engineer (Functional Testing)

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead / Senior Test Engineer to join an international project team. The role focuses on functional testing, coordination of testing activities, and ensuring high-quality delivery across applications.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate system functionality and ensure smooth releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute functional testing activities across applications
  
• Design, review, and maintain test cases and test scenarios
  
• Coordinate testing efforts within the team and track progress
  
• Perform defect management and reporting using tools like JIRA / X-Ray
  
• Validate data through database testing (DB ↔ UI, DB ↔ DB comparisons)
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards
  
• Support release cycles and ensure timely delivery
  

Requirements

• Strong experience in functional testing
  
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and/or X-Ray
  
• Experience with database validation and data comparison
  
• Good understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC)
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work in a hybrid, collaborative environment
  

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Generative AI / Copilot tools
  
• Experience with BDD frameworks
  
• Knowledge of test automation tools (Tosca, Robot Framework – Python)
  
• Previous experience in Healthcare / Pharmaceutical industry
