We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities as part of a large-scale Public Sector ERP transformation programme.
The role will focus on planning, governance and coordination of testing activities across multiple Public Sector Bodies, ensuring that business processes, data migration, reporting and new system functionality are thoroughly validated ahead of Go-Live.
This is a senior coordination role requiring strong experience in ERP test management, stakeholder coordination, defect management and test governance. Experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion is highly preferred.
Your responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
- Develop, maintain and govern the Integrated Test Strategy and Test Plan.
- Define the overall testing approach, scope, schedules and dependencies.
- Establish and manage test entry and exit criteria.
- Support formal test readiness and sign-off activities.
- Coordinate test preparation across four different Public Sector Bodies.
Test Design & Preparation
- Create and maintain test scenarios, test scripts and traceability matrices.
- Ensure test coverage is aligned with Functional Design Documents and Target Operating Models.
- Coordinate test evidence management and UAT pack preparation.
- Support Solution Validation planning and testing readiness assessments.
Test Execution & Defect Management
- Coordinate Solution Exposure, Data Validation, Solution Validation and UAT activities.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of testing activities.
- Coordinate business testers and manage testing schedules across all participating organisations.
- Lead and coordinate defect triage, prioritisation and remediation tracking.
- Coordinate retesting activities and monitor defect resolution.
- Establish and administer JIRA-based test and defect management processes.
Reporting & Governance
- Produce test execution dashboards and readiness reporting.
- Provide clear testing status updates for Programme Board and Steering governance.
- Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies and blockers.
- Support MDC, UAT and overall Go-Live readiness assessments.
- Work closely with programme workstream leads and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective issue resolution.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in ERP Test Management or Test Lead roles.
- Strong experience leading and coordinating complex testing activities in large transformation programmes.
- Experience managing SIT, UAT and Data Migration testing.
- Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test scripts.
- Strong experience with defect management, defect triage and remediation tracking.
- Experience with JIRA or equivalent test management and defect management tooling.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with governance, programme reporting and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate multiple business teams and testing workstreams simultaneously.
Oracle experience
Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred:
- Oracle ERP
- Oracle EBS
- Oracle Fusion
Nice to have
- Experience working on Public Sector transformation programmes.
- Experience in Shared Services transformation environments.
- Experience working across multiple organisations or business entities within a single transformation programme.
Working model
The role is primarily remote and can be delivered from Poland as a Nearshore Test Lead.
Remote activities include
- Test planning and test script development.
- Traceability management.
- JIRA administration and reporting.
- Daily test management and coordination.
- Defect triage coordination.
- Test execution dashboards and reporting.
- Test evidence management.
- Test readiness assessments.
- UAT pack preparation.
Travel
The role will require occasional travel to Dublin for key programme activities, including:
- Mobilisation workshops.
- Process walkthroughs.
- Solution Validation planning.
- UAT kick-off.
- Critical defect resolution workshops.
- Test exit and sign-off discussions.
Expected travel model
- Approximately 80β90% remote.
- Travel to Dublin approximately once per month during the planning phase.
- Increased travel may be required during Solution Validation and UAT.
- The Test Lead will be embedded in the programme's daily calls and delivery cadence.
