Key Responsibilities:
Β
- Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for new and ongoing projects
- Lead a team of QA engineers and testers, ensuring effective task allocation and mentoring
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and align test plans accordingly
- Review and approve test cases, test scripts.
- Review and approve automation frameworks (Nice to have)
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and defect tracking across all stages of testing
- Conduct risk assessments and escalate quality issues as necessary
- Manage test environments and coordinate test data requirements
- Provide regular testing updates, metrics, reports and TSR to project stakeholders
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities
Required Skills
Β
- Proven experience in leading QA/testing teams across multiple projects
- Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), test methodologies, and QA tools (PractiTest, Jira, ALM)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with manual and automated testing approaches
- Hands-on knowledge of tools like Postman, Soap UI, rest Assured, Selenium.
- MS Power apps in Retail domain (Timesheet, Allowances, Cash Discrepancies, Staff Management and Staff Allocation)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Experience/Hands-on knowledge in Retail portfolio
