Test Manager

As a Test Manager at Mivada, you will be responsible for leading our testing and quality assurance initiatives across a diverse portfolio of client projects. You will collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to design and implement effective test strategies that ensure high-quality software delivery. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and excellent client-facing communication.

This role is a hybrid role and will be a 6 to 9 months contract role (with possibility to extend)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Β 
Client & Project Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality assurance and testing aspects on client projects.
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements, define testing objectives, and set clear expectations.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deliverables meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.

Test Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans tailored to each client’s project.
  • Define testing standards, best practices, and processes to ensure consistency across client projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to align on testing requirements and priorities.

Test Execution & Process Management:

  • Oversee the creation, review, and maintenance of test cases, test scripts, and test data for client projects.
  • Ensure the efficient execution of both manual and automated tests.
  • Monitor testing progress, analyse test results, and facilitate timely resolution of defects.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous testing practices where applicable.

Quality Assurance & Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Establish and track quality metrics, providing detailed reports on testing outcomes to both clients and senior management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing early in the software development lifecycle (shift-left testing).

Β Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication between QA, development, and client teams to ensure project success.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.


Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

Demonstrated experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.

Technical Skills:

Strong experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRAΒ etc.).

Soft Skills:

Being hands on in delivery

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
