Test Manager

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Develop and implement a comprehensive automation testing strategy.
•    Invest in advanced automation tools and technologies.
•    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in testing practices.
Business
•    Create value by ensuring the high quality and reliability of software products through automated testing.
•    Deliver value by reducing time-to-market and minimizing defects in production.
•    Capture value through cost savings in testing efforts and improved customer satisfaction.
Processes
•    Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance testing efficiency.
•    Use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate process bottlenecks.
People & Talent
•    Provide ongoing training and certification opportunities in automation testing tools and methodologies.
•    Encourage participation in industry conferences and workshops.

Risk Management
•    Evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
•    Prioritize risks based on their potential impact on the organization.
•    Develop contingency plans for high-priority risks.
•    Implement regular training and upskilling programs to address skill gaps.
•    Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in automation testing.
Governance
•    Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders through regular updates and reports.
•    Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
