JD: β€’ Define the overall test strategy and policies for the program/Project. β€’ Review and approve test plans created by Test Leads. β€’ Choose appropriate testing tools and frameworks. β€’ Estimate test effort and define budgets. β€’ Allocate resources (Test Leads, Testers, Tools, Environment). β€’ Provide overall QE status, metrics, and KPIs to leadership. β€’ Manage expectations and negotiate testing timelines or scope. β€’ Identify risks and define mitigation strategies for test phases. β€’ Approve contingency plans when testing timelines are impacted. β€’ Monitor and improve test processes (e.g., shift-left testing, automation adoption). β€’ Lead retrospectives and quality improvement initiatives. β€’ Drive implementation of QE best practices and compliance frameworks.
