Description
Key responsibilities β’ Serve as primary onshore point of contact for the customer on all testing and quality topics. β’ Define and own test strategy, approach and exit criteria across functional, API, regression and performance testing. β’ Lead, mentor and coordinate offshore/nearshore test teams to deliver test plans, test execution, automation suites and defect management. β’ Drive automation strategy: framework selection, design patterns, CI/CD integration, maintenance practices and metrics. β’ Work closely with product owners, development leads and release managers to prioritize test coverage, risk areas and release readiness. β’ Implement and report on QA metrics and dashboards to the customer and internal stakeholders β’ Ensure test environments, data and tooling are available and managed across locations, coordinate environment readiness with DevOps. β’ Manage test estimates, capacity planning and delivery timelines β’ Escalate risks and propose mitigation plans. β’ Facilitate test reviews, sprint ceremonies, UAT planning and defect triage meetings. β’ Promote best practices in test automation, continuous testing and shift-left testing across teams."
