Test Manager

Job Description: QA Analyst – SCADA and MES (Experience: 8–12 Years)
Role Purpose
Ensure the quality, reliability, and release readiness of Scania’s SCADA and MES solutions by defining, executing, and automating test processes across multiple teams and products within Scania IT.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and developers during the design phase to define test cases and acceptance criteria
• Create, update, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation
• Perform manual and automated testing for SCADA and MES systems
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts where applicable
• Validate system integrations between SCADA, MES, and other connected systems
• Log, track, and manage defects with clear and reproducible steps
• Prepare test reports and quality assessments to support release decisions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices

Required Profile
• 7–10 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• Experience or strong interest in industrial systems such as SCADA and MES
• Ability to convert requirements into structured and comprehensive test cases
• Hands on experience with test automation frameworks and defect tracking tools
• Strong analytical, structured, and detail oriented approach
• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams, domains, and stakeholders

• Experience in automotive or discrete manufacturing environments
• ISTQB or similar testing certification
