This position offers a great opportunity to work on industry leading Radar mmWave sensor devices, targeted for broad applications in the automotive and industrial markets.Β  In this role, you will be the managerial supervisor of a cross functional team working on new and innovative DfT (Design-for-Test) techniques to drive low cost test solutions for Complex / Analog IPs for high volume production testing on roadmap ATE test platforms (Advantest, Teradyne).Β  You will work on cutting edge CMOS process technology nodes, operating at mmWave frequencies (60GHz, 81GHz), targeting a wide breadth of product offerings from high performance and high cost to low power and low cost.

The Test Manager manages the planning, development, and implementation of procedures for the testing and evaluation of the mmWave RADAR device portfolio. Β In this role, the Test Manager specifies tests to be performed, compiles data, and makes recommendations for changes required in testing equipment procedures, manufacturing processes, new testing requirements and/or design of testing equipment. Β You will also recommend the purchase of test equipment and long-term strategy and select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and drive innovation in test to drive test cost to entitlement
  • Develop and drive test methodology, HW & SW, for new IPs
  • Optimize test method library and automated test generation tools for production test programs
  • Optimize production test programs, including test time reduction activities, and yield Improvement
  • Develop and drive TI technology for Design for Test (DFT), design verification, failure analysis and qualification of products
  • Translate defect driven test suites to production test solutions that also validate spec performance
  • Create and implement highly optimized tester agnostic & design centric test methods
  • Analyze test data to thoroughly understand and resolve problems
  • Present analysis and conclusions to internal cross functional teams in a comprehensive and effective manner
  • Manage, coach, and train a team of product/test engineers to a higher level of performance and ability


Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • 3 years of managing people and projects
  • Proven history of technical accomplishment, leadership, planning, coordinating, executing on multiple projects simultaneously for all silicon verification, characterization, qualification, capacity and test cost reduction activities
  • Great breadth of test platform and test technologies
  • Advanced level of understanding and use of Advantest and Teradyne ATE
  • Extensive ATE test application & testing methods experience
  • Solid ability to analyze and understand both analog/digital circuits

Preferred qualifications:

  • Intimate knowledge of all NPDE product execution phases from pre silicon DfT engagement through post silicon RTM at entitlement
  • Knowledge and expertise across core disciplines of product and test role (DfT, ATE HW, ATE SW, Characterization, Quality & Reliability, Failure Analysis, & RTM)
  • Knowledge of digital & analog test methods, high speed interfaces, and RF analog BIST (ORBiT)
  • Extensive knowledge of statistics and tools to summarize and analyze large amounts of characterization and production data and make key decisions based on them (mBayse, SpotFire, TestWare, ParmDB, etc.)
  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative test solutions that guarantee customer quality at the most efficient and lowest cost possible
  • Architectural model level understanding and familiarity with digital designs in TI (Verilog and VHDL designs)
  • Track record of innovation in the test methods resulting in elimination of redundant and/or extraneous tests
  • Willingness to learn new things even when it might not directly be related to the job role/responsibility

An ideal candidate will influence internal and external strategies for ATE and test, impact decisions at PLM and Program Management levels, and will focus on driving new or improving on current processes and methodologies, for consistent and predictable execution.Β  He / She is expected to lead major new technological developments and innovations, including deployment of these technologies into production.
