Test Manager - Functional Testing

An international financial services provider operating in more than forty countries, offering banking and investment solutions to both retail and corporate clients. Tasks:

• Coordinate and support functional test execution across multiple business streams
• Ensure completeness and end-to-end coverage of testing activities
• Work closely with stakeholders from daily operations to translate expectations into test cases and scenarios
• Track defects and testing progress using manual methods (e.g., Excel)
• Support UAT and go-live readiness
• Apply ISTQB principles in a tool-less, low-documentation environment

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, preferably based on ISTQB foundation-level knowledge or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in functional testing and UAT within complex, multi-stream business environments, ideally in financial services or similar regulated industries.
• Ability to design and execute test cases and scenarios derived from business requirements, without relying heavily on automated tools.
• Proficiency in manual defect tracking and test management using basic tools (e.g., Excel, shared documents).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure complete end-to-end test coverage.
• Effective stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate operational needs into testable requirements.
• Comfortable working in a low-documentation, tool-less testing environment, ensuring accuracy and traceability through disciplined manual processes.
