Responsibilities:Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, and test scenarios.Lead end-to-end testing activities including functional and non-functional testing.
- Collaborate with application owners, test managers, and UAT teams to ensure alignment.
- Oversee the full test cycle: planning, preparation, execution, and reporting.
- Serve as the central point of contact for test environment management.
- Coordinate with environment teams to ensure test environments are current and stable.
- Demonstrate test coverage and secure client sign-off.
- Manage continuous automation for SIT and regression testing.
- Publish daily and weekly status reports, track risks and issues to closure.
- Review business requirements and identify defects early in the lifecycle.
- Guide test team members on insurance-related projects and ensure test data provisioning.
- Talk to native Japanese stake holders and plan all test activitiesΒ Β
Requirements:
- 10β12+ years of experience in test management, preferably in insurance domains.
- Proven track record of delivering high-value projects involving multi-core applications.
- Deep understanding of life insurance processes: policy quote, origination, claims, underwriting, and administration.
- Minimum JLPT N3 certification.
- Certifications such as LOMA 290/301 and Japanese insurance credentials are a plus.
- Proficiency in tools like Azure, ALM, Jira, Confluence.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage project milestones, planning, and financials.
- Familiarity with the latest testing tools and best practices.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory.
