Test manager - PLC (Electric Automation) (13022)

What you’ll do:
• Own the Testing Process: Take charge of testing our compact PLC & HMI products and their interactions within our full scale electrical automation systems, ensuring they’re rock solid and reliable.
• Technically Lead of the Team: Guide, inspire, and manage an international team of testers, creating a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
• Strategic Test Planning: Develop, oversee, and execute detailed test plans and schedules, driving the entire test cycle from preparation to completion.
• Ensure Quality: Make sure all testing meets our high standards for quality, finding ways to improve every step of the way.
• Keep Everyone in the Loop: Communicate test progress, results, and any challenges clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with project managers, developers, product and quality managers to make sure everything aligns perfectly.
• Optimize Processes: Lead the way in process improvements, from planning to phase preparation and key meetings.
• Drive Collaboration: Partner with other testing teams to improve strategies, embrace new tech, and enhance test automation.

Here’s what we’re looking for in you:
• You have a degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field.
• Solid experience in testing for electrical automation or related areas is your thing.
• Teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution? You’ve mastered them.
• Leading international teams is something you’ve done and excelled at.
• You’re organized, methodical, and have a structured way of working.
• You’re familiar with project and risk management tools and methods.
• You have an ISTQB® Foundation Level certification (Advanced Level is a big plus).
• Embedded systems, testing tools, black box, regression testing, testing in an agile environment —you know your stuff.
• Microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols (like Ethernet, Profinet, EtherCAT or similar) aren’t just terms to you; you’re comfortable with them.
• Environmental tests (EMC, Temperature, IP,..), Compliance tests (e.g. EN 61131, Profinet, …) ?

You’ve got the skills.
• Your English, both spoken and written, is top-notch.
