Overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of test projects, ensuring strategy, design, execution, closure, budget forecasting, quality control, and timelines adherence. This professional will operate in a multidisciplinary and international context, coordinating different test teams and stakeholders, while promoting test automation and CI/CD reliability within enterprise environments related to insurance and banking products.

Main Tasks

Test Strategy & Scoping

·         Organize workshops to draft the overall test strategy for each project.

·         Elaborate and prepare the different test levels and types required.

·         Alert the project on missing documents or discrepancies in testing documentation.

·         Ensure users’ inputs and participation during test phases.

Planning, Risks & Governance

·         Develop and monitor test project planning with detailed macro and granular calculations.

·         Identify and manage test-related risks and action plans.

·         Control team commitments regarding budget, quality, and deadlines.

·         Prioritize means (material, resources) for smooth implementation.

Execution & Acceptance

·         Decide Go/No Go to start tests.

·         Ensure proper registration of test results and defects in reference tools.

·         Report progress to project managers and hierarchy.

·         Lead methodological standards adoption.

Closure & Continuous Improvement

·         Produce final test reports and closure documentation.

·         Review estimations, processes, procedures with each test resource.

·         Inspire commitment to improve the ROI and automation frameworks.

Technical Background – MUST HAVE

·         Degree in Informatics or related areas.

·         ISTQB methodology principles and vocabulary.

·         8–10+ years’ experience in Test activities and Test Portfolio management.

·         Ability to manage test automation APS in a CI/CD environment (Selenium, Playwright, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

·         Proficiency with Jira, Octane, SQL, Unix Linux scripting, Power BI dashboards.

·         Experience in enterprise projects involving insurance or banking products.

·         Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish for daily communications.

Nice to Have

·         Previous banking experience.

·         Networking and storage basics.

·         ELK, Control-M, Ansible Docker Jenkins Bitbucket ang Git.
