We are looking for a sharp, proactive Test & Hypercare Lead (WMS Test Lead) for a 6-month fixed-term contract to own the quality and stability of this critical rollout.The RoleAs the Test & Hypercare Manager, you aren’t just checking boxes; you are the guardian of our WMS integrity. You will lead the strategy, execution, and defect management across all project phases—from integration and UAT to the critical post-go-live hypercare period.Your core mission:Strategic Planning: Create and drive the Test and Hypercare plans, ensuring every script aligns with our business requirements.Execution Leadership: Lead the charge on unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, providing daily status updates and weekly executive summaries.Defect Command: Own the defect lifecycle, triaging issues and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to find rapid resolutions.Hypercare Governance: Manage the transition to "business as usual" by leading daily defect triage and reporting during the high-pressure go-live phase.Future Proofing: Prepare the regression test plan to ensure subsequent WMS upgrades are seamless.What You’ll BringWe need a leader who is technically curious and incredibly detail-oriented.Essential:A strong interest in technical systems and a willingness to master new features.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a "quality of thinking" that anticipates risks before they become issues.A collaborative, "here to help" attitude that fits the Universal Store spirit.Desirable (The "Icing on the Cake"):Proven experience as a Test Lead/Manager or Hypercare Manager.Specific experience with Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Manhattan SCALE.Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira.A background in warehouse operations or a degree in Computer Science/IT.Why Universal Store?At Universal Store, we live by the Universal Spirit.
