Build quality at scale, not just tests

Softsich is a young and ambitious international product tech company that develops scalable B2B digital platforms. We’re looking for an experienced AQA Lead who will take ownership of automated quality assurance processes and help the team build reliable, maintainable, and scalable test solutions.

In this role, you’ll combine hands-on automation expertise with team leadership β€” defining QA strategy, shaping test architecture, and guiding AQA engineers toward consistent, high-quality results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

– Leading theΒ AQA team: planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling the work of AQA engineers.
– Defining and evolving theΒ test automation strategy and architecture.
– Writing and maintaining automated tests forΒ Web and API layers.
– Reviewing merge requests and ensuring high code and test quality standards.
– Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
– Participating in Scrum ceremonies (2-week sprints) and release planning.
– Continuously improving QA processes, tools, and best practices.

It’s a match if you have:

– Proven experience as aΒ Lead AQA / QA Automation Lead.
– Strong hands-on experience with Web and API test automation (must-have).
– Practical expertise with Playwright + TypeScript (or readiness to work deeply with this stack).
– Experience designing test frameworks and making architectural QA decisions.
– Ownership mindset and readiness to take responsibility for overall product quality.

Nice to have:

– Knowledge ofΒ Java.
– Experience working withΒ high-load or data-intensive systems.
– Familiarity with tools such asΒ ESLint, Prettier, Faker.js, Sharp, or Tesseract.
– Experience working with CI pipelines (tests running via GitLab Actions).
