Test Engineer

Falls Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist (Salesforce) to join our dynamic team. This role supports a collaborative group managing multiple Salesforce applications within a Scrum Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, playing a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable software. This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual and automated testing of Salesforce applications to validate functionality, performance, and reliability
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios tailored to Salesforce implementations
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using approved tools
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Ensure thorough test coverage aligned with user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Provide clear and actionable reports on testing progress and defect resolution
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test scripts and user guides
  • Implement and leverage test automation tools for Salesforce as appropriate
  • Continuously evaluate testing processes and recommend improvements to enhance quality

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fieldβ€”or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Software QA Specialist or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce testing practices, including manual and automated approaches
  • Familiarity with Scrum Agile development methodologies
  • Experience managing and testing multiple Salesforce applications in parallel
  • Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Salesforce-specific tools like Accelq or Test Automation Framework)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting and sharing findings
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
