We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both API and GUI testing using automation and manual testing approaches. The primary responsibility of
the Automation Tester will be to develop and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. The candidate should have strong knowledge of .Net core, .Net Rest Assured, and the Playwright framework, and possess good communication and problem-solving skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and GUI testing.
  • Execute automated test scripts and analyze the results to identify issues and defects.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test cases.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identify and report software defects, track their status, and verify fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and timely delivery of software releases.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in automation testing.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members, as needed.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Candidature Requirements:

  • Atleast 6 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong experience with .Net core 6 or 8.
  • Proficiency in .Net Rest Assured for API testing.
  • Knowledge of the Playwright framework for GUI testing
  • Strong aptitude, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams using agilemethodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Good-to-have skills:

  • Familiarity with Azure CI/CD for continuous integration and
  • continuous deployment.
  • Knowledge of Cypress, Cucumber
  • Domain knowledge in the payment industry.
  • Experience with Selenium.
  • Experience with the Azure board for task management
