As a Automation Test Lead in the Managed Services Platform, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy through execution and beyond. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to:Β 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation testing using industry leading tools such as UFT/TOSCA/Selenium/Appium/WorkSoft CertifyΒ 

  • 5+ years of experience and strong hands-on knowledge in scripting languages such as Java, Python, typescript or cypressΒ 

  • Create Test Automation frameworks from scratch for Digital Platform ApplicationsΒ 

  • Conduct code reviews and peer reviews of work products prepared by the teamΒ 

  • Deliver a robust automation framework built upon established and proven open-source toolsΒ 

  • Design and architect modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy client requirements.Β 

  • Cooperate with customers and PwC delivery team to define automated tests scope and approachΒ 

  • Ensure the quality control and oversight for the deliverables produced by the teamΒ 

  • Provide expert advice, guidance and support in the area of technical specialismΒ 

  • Develop and lead team of test automation engineers (different profiles & technologies)Β 

  • Report on testing effort status and resultsΒ 

  • Support the team throughout the engineering processΒ 

  • Proactively identify technical risks and issuesΒ 

  • Build a trusted working relationship with respective counterparts within the ClientΒ 

  • Perform test scripting, test data identification, testing environment, testing executionΒ 

  • Co-ordinate the code promotion to QA environment with infra, platform, application teams and developers and post QA to productionΒ

  • Experience in implementing test driven (TDD) and behavior driven development (BDD).Β 

  • Experience with Testing Planning and Test ExecutionΒ 

  • Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologiesΒ 

  • Candidate should have worked on Automation testing tool using Tricentis TOSCA, Microfocus UFT, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, PerfectoΒ 

  • Experience in API testing and API test automation is plusΒ 

  • Strong experience on Service layer testing to support Agile/Scrum development, DevOps, and CI/CDΒ
